“I was a participant during Session 413 and 494 (2003 and 2012) and met very talented people who shared innovative ideas with each other. I was very inspired by this experience to go ahead with my professional life. All of the Session participants are prominent experts and uncommon people and I was happy to connect with them. Among them, John Lotherington and Dr. Shirin Akiner. We had long interesting conversations about cross culture communication issues and opinions of my dear colleagues are still important to me.

SGS’s memorable events: meetings, presentations, discussions, concerts, suppers and so on. I do love opening and closing ceremonies of sessions, when each person introduces their own country, institution, themselves, and then gives a reflection of the work done.

I also remember the outstanding pedagogical talents of SGS’s faculties, the hospitality of Schloss Leopoldskron staff, and the historical environment. This includes the lake, garden, sculptures, Hohensalzburg, Mozart memorial places and music.
